Fall has been the most popular time of year to rent bikes at the Little Red Rock Trail and spring the least popular. The weather is most pleasant in both the spring and fall, but Las Vegas offers many events centered around Spring Break which could be the cause of fewer visitors in the spring.

Fewer bikes were rented in the early months: January, February, March. This means more bikes tend to be available to rent during this time of the year.

The number of bikes that were rented appears to have been evenly distributed throughout the week at the Little Red Rock Trail. The majority of visitors tend to be tourists traveling from outside of the area while on vacation, so most are not limited by work-days.

As explained above, the majority of visitors travel to the area while on vacation and are therefore gifted with more free time. Bikes are rented pretty evenly throughout the week. An assumption therefore cannot be made about the availability of bikes based on the day being a work-day or weekend.

Fewer bikes were rented on federal holidays. This means more bikes may be available to rent on a day that is a federal holiday.

The most popular times to rent bikes at the Little Red Rock Trail were early in the morning, around 8:00 am, and early evening, around 5:00-6:00 pm. Arriving early to the trail, between 5:00-6:00 am, may increase the likelihood that more bikes will be available to rent.

When comparing the number of bikes rented at each hour on working-days vs non-working days, early morning rides (around 8:00 am) and early evening rides (around 5:00-6:00 pm) may be more likely on days that are work-days than on the weekend.
